“Creativity and ethics are also part of our brand philosophy”

Ahima peace silk
Peace Silk is made from natural protein fibers produced by silkworm larvae. Drawing on the deep Vedic tradition of “Ahimsa” meaning non-violence, the material is processed without killing the silkworm.
In the traditional silk making process, the larvae of the Bombyx Mori silkworm are killed by boiling. In the case of peace silk making, the larvae are allowed to complete their life cycle and they transform into moths. Since the cocoon is pierced, it is not necessary to kill the chrysalis to recover the silk. The silkworms can crawl out of their cocoon without breaking it. Extracting the silk threads is then easier for the artisans.
“Ahimsa” silk is 100% natural & organic, and developed in the best conditions. Each step of the production chain from the fiber to the final product is controlled by the European certificate “GOTS” (Global Organic Textile Standard). The organic farming of Peace Silk is also certified by “OneCert International Organic Standards” and “India Organic NPOP”.
"We only use natural and GOTS certified materials, meaning that 95% of their fibers come from organic farming."

Lyocell, wood fiber
Lyocell is an eco-friendly fiber made from pine pulp. The wood pulp used to produce lyocell comes from trees planted specifically for its production. Pine and eucalyptus forests are certified sustainable. Lyocell therefore has a low environmental impact because it is produced in a closed loop circuit where materials are constantly recycled and reused with low water consumption.
The forests come from responsible agriculture in compliance with strict regulations. The trees used for the raw material (eucalyptus wood pulp) are planted specifically for the production of lyocell. Most of the trees come from forests in South Africa and Austria that are PEFC (Programme for the Support of Forest Certification) certified.
Our luxury silk/lyocell collection combines the silky look of silk with the comfort of wood fiber. The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe supports this 100% responsible collection, soon available on our online store.

Upcycling
In a logic of circular economy and awareness, we use leather scraps and dormant rolls from the luxury industry, in order to avoid waste and optimize resources as much as possible.
The leathers we have selected in the collection come from a recovery cycle and are REACH certified, vegetable tanning. Instead of polluting the land, the material is enhanced in a fashion product. Olistic The Label collects leftover leather from luxury tanneries in France and Italy in order to create unique pieces. The goal is to use the old, here of very high quality, before producing again.
We also consider the dormant rolls of the luxury industry as a noble raw material that we should not burn or throw away. Born sustainable, Olistic The Label integrates into its supply chain the concepts of recycling and the importance of a circular economy.

Virgin wool Burel
Burel wool originates from the peaks of the Serra da Estrela mountain plateaus, where sheep live in complete freedom. Sheared by hand by shepherds, guardians of the flocks and their environment, these animals raised in conditions unchanged for centuries offer us Burel virgin wool. Burel wool yarn links Man to his environment. Burel wool is above all a story of passion and transmission. This age-old know-how is passed down from generation to generation in the families of Portuguese artisans who produce, card and spin this exceptional wool.
Thanks to local partners who respect the environment and are committed to guaranteed 100% recyclable and waste-free production, Olistic the Label offers sustainable fashion and participates in the revival of this traditional activity which promotes the socio-economic development of the region.
Burel wool is characterized by its great softness and resistance. This durable natural material has excellent insulation properties and is hypoallergenic. Felted by hand, Burel wool offers unparalleled comfort.
Preserving an ancestral heritage while offering luxurious contemporary clothing, such is the promise of the Olistic the Label collections.

Geelong merino wool
Our knitted garments are made from Geelong merino wool, from the first shearing of free-range lambs. This noble natural material, with the softness of cashmere, is enhanced in an artisanal way thanks to the know-how of our Italian partners.
Merino wool is sought after for its many thermoregulating and insulating properties, making it a hypoallergenic natural fibre that provides warmth and comfort. We have selected an extra-fine virgin wool for an everyday wardrobe that is both feminine and casual.
Our merino wool benefits from the expertise of passionate craftsmen. We work with a spinning mill established in Italy for 125 years which has perpetuated precious know-how for more than 5 generations and is now committed to Greenpeace. The knitting of our merino wool sweaters, pants and accessories is also entrusted to an Italian family business, an emblematic workshop in the Veneto region known for its respect for traditions combined with a unique sense of innovation.
100% made in Italy, our merino wool clothing will accompany you into the heart of winter while promoting artisanal fashion sustainable.
